At MRSolar, s.l. offer a choice of construction in Nordic Fir timber, using 12cm, 9cm or 7cm external cladding options. (This timber was judged “best in Europe” in 2006).
Our wooden houses are constructed from the highest quality materials and finished to a high specification, meaning that they are considered to be completely mortgageable, registrable properties.
We are in a position to take on the responsibility of the complete planning process, from initial design discussions to the obtaining of local planning permission through our collaboration with locally based SKH Architects. The construction process will begin with the site preparation and usually the creation of a level concrete slab incorporating all necessary services installations required for the functioning of your house, from connections to mains water and electrical supplies and drainage. This will form the foundation base for the wooden house. In addition, we will construct the necessary boundary walls or fences and any landscaping features which you require, such as a swimming pool or pergola.
Our guarantee is always for 10 years as it would be for a traditional construction method. The timber is comprehensively treated to prevent termite attack and to give it fire resistance, whilst maintaining a high resistance to UV rays even in adverse climatic conditions. Its durability is estimated to be around 300 years.
Our houses are homes for year-round residence and as such have been used both as first and second homes, and are in no way either “temporary” or “prefabricated”. This is borne out by the fact that they can be mortgaged since they are classified in the same way as traditional houses in Spanish legal terms as “bienes inmuebles” and are therefore inscribed by a notary in the Spanish Property Register on completion. Their sales market is the same as that of traditionally constructed houses with a similar constantly increasing value.
We can deliver you a house within 150 working days from the signing of the contract.
Kind regards,
MRSolar, s.l.
